Pure & Essential Omega-3 Wild Fish Oil is a high absorption, fast-acting and super concentrated EPA & DHA 1000mg omega-3 supplement. It delivers an optimal 1000mg EPA & DHA dose at a balanced 2:1 EPA to DHA ratio in 2 small softgels. The oil is responsibly sourced from wild, deep-sea anchovies, purified via molecular distillation and certified free from PCBs, dioxins & mercury.

The oil is enhanced with 1000mcg natural algae-derived astaxanthin to provide antioxidant protection to the delicate omega-oils and to the cells of the body. Our burpless fish oil is naturally flavoured with lemon oil to reduce odour and unpleasant reflux.

Real use & expert insights

Each tub contains 180 softgels, providing a 3-months supply at a daily dosage of 2 softgels.

Adults and children aged 10+: 2 softgels daily with food. For optimal absorption, divide the daily dose between morning and evening. Consistent intake is recommended. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Omega-3 is found in different molecular forms, with the advanced re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) form offering unrivalled absorption, without relying on the availability of fat in the diet. Absorbed in the same way as triglyceride, rTG omega-3 is more than twice as concentrated, so it can deliver higher levels of EPA and DHA directly into cells where they are needed most.

Concentrated small softgels

The softgels are smaller but contain more active ingredients as the re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) form provides a higher concentration of omega-3 EPA & DHA per volume of oil. The 70% concentration provided is more than twice that of standard fish oil which is only 30%. Also, as fat absorption is limited in the body, the higher concentration allows for a lower volume of oil needed, ensuring more EPA & DHA are efficiently absorbed. Splitting the dose can also improve absorption.

Balanced EPA & DHA

Intake of omega-3 EPA and DHA are both estimated to be sub-optimal in the population, but may also be imbalanced. EPA is incorporated into the outer cell membrane, and has a high turnover rate. In contrast, DHA is located in the inner cell membrane where levels are better retained; DHA turnover is much slower than EPA. Supplementing with an omega-3 fish oil offering a higher EPA to DHA ratio ensures DHA levels are not over-saturated at the expense of low EPA stores.

Wild Fish Oil is sourced from small, wild and responsibly-sourced deep-sea fish, which are less prone to pollutant build-up than larger, longer-lived species. The Mercedes of omega 3 supplements

From little to big: packed in a dark bottle so the fatty acids in the capsules to be preserved from light damage (or oxidation, for these fatty acids are sensible); small capsules with good taste; high concentration of EPA and DHA and, on top of that, the rTG form that is, as the science suggest, the best form to supplement. Pure sourcing, high quality processing, high quality formulation, top-notch efficiency (in terms of bio-availability), good price, enriched with a powerfull antioxidant (astaxanthin), transparency of the company.. As a consumer and as a specialist as well (nutritionist), looking at all of this, I would recomend this product to anyone looking for the best omega 3 supplement, younger or older. Note: for anyone wanting to supplement with omega3, make sure to store it away from direct sun light, and take it with a meal (the fat intake from your meal will better support the absorbtion of the fatty acids). 🤗

The only one I've found that has a capsule not made from bovine gelatine. Others say suitable for vegetarians and vegans but on the ingredients section it has bovine gelatine. It doesn't have a funky smell and the capsules are small compared to other ones I've seen. 180 capsules for that price is good. Can be used as part of a Halal diet. Would recommend and will definitely keep buying.P.S. Ignore my dry as hell hand in the picture.

I have started using these recently. The lemon aftertaste is good. I have not noticed any changes so far, but have only started it one month ago. My blood tests are still the same. I do not eat fish so this supplement is intended to provide essential Omega 3 for me. I like that it is certified for purity and oxidation

I have always tried to buy as high a concentration of EPA/DHA as possible and it has not always been easy to find due to product labelling. I find these capsules easy to swallow with no after taste.
