Pure & Essential Astaxanthin Complex is a natural extract from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis (H. Pluvialis) – the same algae responsible for the pink-red pigmentation of wild salmon and crustaceans. Today was my first day of full sun on the lake. I’ll be doing this every weekend for the full summer fall here in the Rockies at high altitude. I’ve been in the sun, my whole life, and I just started noticing some changes In my skin.

I’ve just been taking the Astaxanthin complex for 2 weeks now, so the jury is still out. As a natural remedy, it makes perfect sense.

The baby leaves of mini Rocky Mountains plants begin as a deep red leaf; this is a natural sunscreen protection for the delicate leaves. Then when they feel safe, they turned green and become full-size.

I am super excited for the red algae and the benefits is I continue to age and play a little more gracefully in the sun!

Great stuff

Have had a positive outcome with this astaxanthin, keeps inflammation down in my body, & stay regular in bowl movements,pee,&poo have a pink tint to it, but know it's got to be working, its great so far, i take two but might up to 1 more, it says no more then three a day, it perks me up& makes me get more stuff done& feel great. Will only buy from here, so u should try it.

Provides an additional buffer

I take this in the summer months to protect my skin from the harming sun rays . Love the ingredients ! Would love a higher dosage capsule so I can take 1 capsule instead of the 2 .

One that I wouldn't be without.

Have been taking this for years for eye health. The only time I had to stop was for a recurring gut infection where I really noticed the deterioration. As soon as I was well enough I resumed the daily dose and the eyes recovered. That was a different brand w/o all of the ingredients that this one has. Marvellous stuff!
