Pure & Essential Astaxanthin Complex is a natural extract from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis (H. Pluvialis) – the same algae responsible for the pink-red pigmentation of wild salmon and crustaceans. Astaxanthin Complex contains the highest available concentration of astaxanthin, and a complex of other beneficial carotenoids including lutein and zeaxanthin, as well as amino acids and fatty acids, which together offer a broad range of health benefits, enhance its bioavailability and increase cell membrane stability.

The King of antioxidants

Astaxanthin’s ability to reduce oxidative stress is incredibly strong due to its unique chemical structure, providing additional protection from cellular damage. One that I wouldn't be without.

Have been taking this for years for eye health. The only time I had to stop was for a recurring gut infection where I really noticed the deterioration. As soon as I was well enough I resumed the daily dose and the eyes recovered. That was a different brand w/o all of the ingredients that this one has. Marvellous stuff!
