Superior absorption & sustained action over 24 hours

Super Vitamin C Complex harnesses the PUREWAY-C delivery system to enhance the delivery, absorption and utilization of vitamin C. Clinically proven to increase cellular retention of vitamin C by 233% compared with other leading delivery systems, levels are sustained over 24 hours for all-day nutrient coverage. Citrus bioflavanoids increase plasma levels of vitamin C as well as its antioxidant capability, enhancing vitamin C’s benefits for the immune system, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, protecting against oxidative stress, collagen production, increasing iron absorption and supporting the nervous system.

 

High strength, bioavailable 1000mg 1-a-day dose

Vitamin C as standard ascorbic acid is not absorbed efficiently in doses above 200mg, as uptake pathways get saturated and blood levels of vitamin C are maintained within a narrow range. Once vitamin C levels in the blood reach a certain level, they do not increase further no matter how much vitamin C is consumed. To increase levels in the body, there needs to be increased movement of vitamin C out of the blood into the cells of organs and tissues, where it is stored and concentrated up to 100x higher than in the bloodstream.

Good Vit C, easy on the tummy and bowel

I bought this pureway Vit c product because I cannot tolerate the normal acidic vitamin c and thankfully with this one it means I can now have high dose (multiple tablets per day) which I sometimes need for a recurring viral issue, and not suffer any ill effects in the digestive system. Very pleased, and the subscribe and save option enables me to save a significant amount in the long term.

Great that it uses PureWay-C. But I the dose is way too high for daily supplementation. High vitamin C intake can inhibit copper absorption.

Would start buying this again if there was a 250mg option. 1000mg is much too high.

Good product

On advice of both my doctor and nutritionist I take Vitamin C daily. I buy this one as I believe igennus is a good reputable brand.
Although it's one of my larger supplements, I find the shape of this tablet easier to swallow than some other brands
