Igennus is a family-run business based in Cambridge, UK, founded by our Chairman Jav Nazemi, and now led by his daughter, Mina, our CEO. The entire Nazemi family are involved in the day-to-day running of the company, including his younger daughter Roxana and his wife. The Nazemi family are supported by a close-knit team of talented people who share our values and bring expertise and inspiration, enabling us to remain strongly science-led. We only develop products we truly believe in and use ourselves.

Our story

Title

We are a family-run, science-led supplement company based in Cambridge, UK, founded by Dr Jav Nazemi and now led by his daughter, Mina. 

 

The company began from a personal journey when Jav, moved by a relative’s heart condition, discovered the clinical potential of omega-3 but saw a gap in quality products. 

 

This led to the creation of the UK’s first ultra-pure EPA supplement in 2003. 

 

Since then, Igennus has grown through innovation, research collaborations, and a deep commitment to evidence-based, high-impact nutrition. 

 

Now under Mina’s leadership, Igennus continues to blend scientific excellence with a human touch, offering personal support, clean ingredients, and clinically effective solutions for the whole family.
