Directions & Warnings

Adults and children aged 12+: 2 tablets daily with food. For optimal absorption, divide the daily dose between morning and evening. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Absorbable plant-based forms

We use naturally bioavailable forms of calcium and magnesium derived from Icelandic red algae & Irish mineral-rich seawater. Due to the algae’s porous, honeycomb structure, the calcium is more easily digested and absorbed than standard calcium carbonate derived from rock. The concentrated seawater extract provides a high level of elemental magnesium, which is easily absorbed in the gut. We also include bioactive vitamin D3 sourced from algae and naturally-occurring trace minerals, including selenium and zinc.

Enhanced with vitamin D3, K2 & boron

To ensure optimum absorption and utilisation of calcium and magnesium, we have provided these minerals in the ideal 2:1 ratio alongside vitamin D3, vitamin K2 and boron. Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb more calcium from the gut, and vitamin K2 distributes calcium into bones, keeping calcium out of soft tissues. Boron supports the absorption of calcium and magnesium and decreases their excretion, and also directly stimulates cells that build bone. Magnesium assists with calcium transport and promotes its movement into bones.

Pure & sustainable

We use Aquamin marine algae and filtered seawater, ultra pure sources of minerals. Throughout the algae’s growth phase it absorbs calcium, magnesium and trace minerals, including zinc and selenium. The algae then breaks down naturally and settles on the seabed, from where it is collected using a sustainable harvesting process. Additional magnesium is collected by filtering pure seawater, removing any impurities while retaining concentrated, natural magnesium. All raw materials are analysed for contaminants, including PCBs, dioxins and heavy metals.

Bone health

It’s never too early or late to focus on good bone health by ensuring an adequate intake of calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin K and boron. Calcium supports normal growth and development of bones in children and we reach peak bone density around age 30; we lose about 1% each year thereafter. Age-related loss of bone mineral density affects both men and women, however bone loss accelerates for women post-menopause, making it especially important for women over the age of 50 to reduce the loss of bone mineral density.

Strenuous exercise requires increased magnesium intake, but Western diets are often low in magnesium. Magnesium is also needed for energy production and helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to maintaining electrolyte balance and protein synthesis, with adequate protein needed to support muscle growth.
