High Absorption Curcumin C3 Complex® utilises a unique, soluble form of Curcumin C3 Complex to overcome the poor absorption of standard curcumin. Standard 95% curcumin extract is naturally hydrophobic meaning it is insoluble in water and therefore unable to pass through the thin water layer barrier that lines the insides of the gut. To overcome this, our formula utilises a unique hydrogel dispersal technology that enhances stability and solubility resulting in 300% increased absorption and rapid uptake.

High absorption curcumin

Standard curcumin extract is insoluble due to its structure, therefore is unable to pass through the thin water layer barrier that lines the gut. To overcome absorption issues, our formula utilises a unique hydrogel dispersal technology that enhances solubility resulting in 300% increased absorption and rapid uptake. Although non-formulated extracts provide a 95% concentration of curcuminoids, bioavailability is very low.

Improved stability

Although curcumin is stable in the acidic environment of the stomach, it becomes increasingly unstable as it enters the alkaline environment of the small intestine, where the majority is simply degraded to inactive byproducts. To overcome these poor stability issues, the hydrogel technology protects curcumin against degradation in the harsh environment. The dispersal technology allows curcumin to enter cells rapidly, to enhance levels of curcuminoids in the body.

Trio of curcuminoids

Curcumin C3 Complex is the most clinically studied curcumin, standardised to contain a 95% concentration of curcuminoids. The gentle extraction process preserves the three active curcuminoids found naturally in turmeric; curcumin, bisdemethoxycurcumin and demethoxycurcumin. We combine the 95% extract with a hydrogel dispersal technology to provide 350mg Curcumin C3 Complex, delivering 210mg curcuminoids per capsule.
