Pure & Essential Omega-3 Wild Fish Oil is a high absorption, fast-acting and super concentrated EPA & DHA 1000mg omega-3 supplement. At 70% concentration, it increases cellular omega-3 levels 3.5x higher than standard fish oil and 5x higher than krill oil. It delivers an optimal 1000mg EPA & DHA dose at a balanced 2:1 EPA to DHA ratio in 2 small softgels. This supplement provides effective support for brain function, heart and eye health, and inflammatory support. The oil is responsibly sourced from wild, deep-sea anchovies, sardines & mackerel, purified via molecular distillation and certified free from PCBs, dioxins & mercury.

 

The oil is enhanced with 1000mcg natural algae-derived astaxanthin to provide antioxidant protection to the delicate omega-oils and to the cells of the body. Our burpless fish oil is naturally flavoured with lemon oil to reduce odour and unpleasant reflux.

Directions & Warnings

Adults and children aged 10+: 2 softgels daily with food. For optimal absorption, divide the daily dose between morning and evening. Consistent intake is recommended. Do not exceed the stated dose.

At over twice the concentration of a standard fish oil, 70% concentration allows for 1000mg dose of EPA and DHA to be provided in 2 small softgels. The oil is enhanced with an antioxidant complex, including 1mg astaxanthin derived from microalgae, providing extra protection against oxidation and for health benefits. Responsibly sourced from wild, deep-sea anchovies, sardines & mackerel, the oil is naturally pure. It is then purified further using molecular distillation to remove traces of environmental toxins.

 Omega-3 EPA and DHA support multiple areas of health including normal heart function with a daily intake of at least 250 mg, and DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.

Omega-3 is found in different molecular forms, with the advanced re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) form offering unrivalled absorption, without relying on the availability of fat in the diet. Absorbed in the same way as triglyceride, rTG omega-3 is more than twice as concentrated, so it can deliver higher levels of EPA and DHA directly into cells where they are needed most.

rTG also works faster to restore omega balance – raising levels of EPA and DHA in cells 3.5x more than standard fish oil and 5x more than krill oil. Splitting the dose can also improve absorption.

Concentrated small softgels

The softgels are smaller but contain more active ingredients as the re-esterified triglyceride (rTG) form provides a higher concentration of omega-3 EPA & DHA per volume of oil. The 70% concentration provided is more than twice that of standard fish oil which is only 30%. Also, as fat absorption is limited in the body, the higher concentration allows for a lower volume of oil needed, ensuring more EPA & DHA are efficiently absorbed. Splitting the dose can also improve absorption.

High dose EPA & DHA

Expertly formulated by Igennus nutrition scientists to provide an effective, intensive dose without over-saturating the body. Each serving provides 1000 mg of the active ingredients EPA and DHA; over 3x more EPA & DHA than standard large 1000 mg omega-3 fish oil capsules (usually only provide 300 mg EPA & DHA). 1000mg EPA and DHA is safe for long term use and an effective dose to restore healthy omega balance, in particular, the omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, and Omega-3 Index (an established marker of cardiovascular health and long term disease risk).

Balanced EPA & DHA

Intake of omega-3 EPA and DHA are both estimated to be sub-optimal in the population, but may also be imbalanced. EPA is incorporated into the outer cell membrane, and has a high turnover rate. In contrast, DHA is located in the inner cell membrane where levels are better retained; DHA turnover is much slower than EPA. Supplementing with an omega-3 fish oil offering a higher EPA to DHA ratio ensures DHA levels are not over-saturated at the expense of low EPA stores.

Pure wild fish oil

Wild Fish Oil is sourced from small, wild and responsibly-sourced deep-sea fish including anchovies, sardines & mackerel, which are less prone to pollutant build-up than larger longer-lived species. The oil is also sourced from fish body oil as it is purer than fish liver oil. Purified using molecular distillation to remove dioxins, methylmercury and PCBs to virtually undetectable levels. Added natural lemon oil ensures no fishy odour or taste.

This formula contains astaxanthin sourced from microalgae, to offer enhanced protection to the delicate omega oils and to the body. Astaxanthin is also naturally occurring in krill. This natural microalgae extract provides a complex of carotenoids, including lutein and zeaxanthin, and offers a high ORAC value (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) with 6000 more antioxidant power than vitamin C.
