Gentle on the stomach
To overcome common digestive side effects, this supplement contains iron in the well-absorbed bisglycinate form that is gentle on the stomach. 14mg of iron provides 100% of the nutrient reference value for women, making this formula especially suitable for women of menstruating age. To optimise absorption of other minerals, we use fully reacted and chelated zinc glycinate and copper glycinate chelate. As zinc and copper compete for absorption in the body, this formula contains an optimal ratio to keep the body in balance.
Methylated & active forms
As B vitamins are often difficult to utilise in the body, especially for those with the MTHFR genetic variants (which impact how your body processes folic acid and other important B vitamins), this multivitamin contains methylated and active B vitamin forms. These body-ready B vitamins are easily accessible to use straight away. We use methylated folate rather than poorly absorbed folic acid, vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate which has cofactor activity to support various processes in the body, and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin.
All day nutrient coverage
Sustained release technology provides a steady release of nutrients into the bloodstream, for all day nutrient coverage. For enhanced nutrient levels, we provide high absorption nutrient forms including vitamin D as the active D3 form (cholecalciferol) which is better absorbed and utilised than vitamin D2. We also include vitamin K2 in the bioavailable form Menaquinone-MK-7, retained in the body longer than any other form of vitamin K. With split dosing, cellular nutrient levels are optimised and are maintained throughout the day.
Supports immune function
Low nutrient status is increasingly being linked with frequent illness, therefore our multivitamin and mineral provides a range of nutrients to support immune health. Vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc and iron are particularly well researched for their ability to maintain normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C, B2, vitamin E and zinc are also useful at protecting cells from oxidative damage. These immune strengthening benefits are also present during times of stress, and may help to reduce risk of infection.
Energy production & metabolism
For those with low energy levels, B-vitamins and vitamin C help to reduce tiredness and fatigue by supporting normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B5 are required to produce energy from food, vitamin B6 helps break down stored energy from muscles and the liver and vitamin B12 is required for the production of cellular energy in the body.
